This system and the innovative technologies implemented in the system are leading the digital transformation. It can be integrated with modules for client and server digital signatures for all relevant materials and actions which are taken by authorized persons. The platform for digital signatures could allow XML and PDF Digital Signatures on several channels like Web, Desktop, Tablets, Mobile and it is in compliance with the latest EU standards and EU Directive for Trusted Services 910/2014.

e-Board makes easier to organize teams in a process of preparation of legal projects. Beside predefined document templates, the new platform now offers custom document templates. Also, e-Cabinet incorporates extended collaboration processes between ministries. Processes for opinion requesting/answering are redesigned and extended with additional level for internal assignment.

With this feature, e-Board is more flexible and allows a practically unlimited number of approval levels to be assigned to the material. In addition to pre-implemented approval processes that were included in the previous version, it is possible to use dynamic approval for specific material-based approval needs.

Monitoring and measuring of the performances are one of the main characteristics of e-Board The system will enable users to monitor the status materials at any phase: preparation, materials in procedure with status, number of received materials, due time for preparation, approval, and waiting for an opinion, etc. with usage of scorecards with KPIs and analytical reporting for the performances for all participants in the processes.

e-Cabinet supports information versioning on multiple levels. All document libraries are versioning-enabled. Each document change creates a new version of that document. In case of an unintentional mistake, the system administrators are able to undo document changes and revert to the original content. Second versioning level is on all documents as a package. During approval processes, a new package of all material documents is created and archived into version history if the material is rejected.

The Nextsense e-Cabinet solution is developed according to the e-Government standards and recognized best practices. Our team spends a lot of time and effort in the analysis of the world’s best practices and implements those practices in our solutions. The solution supports the majority of opened standards: XML, XSLT, HTTP(s), (X)HTML, WebDAV, SOAP, WSE.

e-Cabinet is implemented as a web-based software system. This type of implementation allows centralized management of software components and easily accessible contents for remote users. Information is transferred through an advanced secured channel implemented over standard HTTP protocol by using SSL and HTTPS communication.

Contents in e-Cabinet are organized and structured according to the XML standard. This provides an option for extensibility and reusability of e-Cabinet modules by any external system that is XML compliant. The e-Cabinet supports open standards for portable document format. Most of the documents can be automatically converted into PDF by designated software module.

The system is a cross-platform software, which means that it is available for use on personal computers, tablets and mobile devices (iOS, Android and Windows) and is completely integrated within Microsoft Office tools.

e-Cabinet is a complete multilingual platform. It provides the option to work on multiple languages interfaces at the same time. Beside system localization this platform also offers content localization. Separate module for automatic translation of the content has been implemented. Documents can be language-specific and attached to material depending on the chosen language.

The whole interface is re-engineered to support better intuitive interaction. The final result is significantly better acceptance from the end-users. The complete solution is built on the latest SharePoint Server platform – version 2010. From an overall scalability and performance perspective, the platform now runs on the latest Windows Server 64-bit operating systems. E-Cabinet can be implemented on small farms from as less as 5-7 servers up to very large data centers depending on customer needs and demands.
